I have the privilege of working with the amazing staff and students at the college as one of the co-principals. This song is about how I continually muck it up and how God continually, not only comes after me but helps me back gently and with big kind hands – to the love of my life. Hanging lights is a reference to how we worship some things and people and I wanted this to be a reference to worship of God.
